Ms. Sherry Gnell Farmer, 77, of Atmore, quietly answered the master’s call on Mon., June 6, 2022 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Farmer; and her mother, Cornelia Brooks.

Those left to embrace her life and legacy are her four daughters, Thereasa Farmer and Sondia Farmer, both of Atmore, Charlene Farmer of Florida and Janice Farmer of New York; a son, Charles Farmer Jr. of Florida; three sisters, Waymon Wingate of Atmore, Dorothy Russell of Fairhope and Veronica Brooks of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother, Anthony Brooks of Sarasota, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
