Mrs. Sheila Diane Gates, 70, passed away on Mon., June 13, 2022 at her home in Summerdale surrounded by family at her bedside.
Mrs. Gates is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Berry Vernon (Dorothy Stewart) Seals; and husband, Floyd Geary Gates.
She is survived by her one son, Floyd Geary (Glenda) Gates Jr. of Bay Minette; one daughter, Sharon Gates (Salvador) Perez, of Summerdale; one sister, Mary Delores (Sonny) Gaskin, of Stark, Fla.; two grandchildren, Caleb “Kyle” Enfinger and MaKayla Diane Cuenca; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held this Fri., June 17, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with the Rev. Ronald Hall officiating.
Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on June 17, 2022 from 1 p.m. until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
