Mr. Daniel O’Cain Sr., born April 12, 1929 in Wallace, passed away on Fri., June 24, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Mr. O’ Cain is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Pearl Bryant O’Cain; first wife, Doris O’Cain; two sons, Daniel O’Cain Jr. and David O’Cain; one daughter, Sandra O’Cain Mitchell; three brothers, Joe “Buddy” O’Cain, Johnny O’Cain and Nathaniel O’Cain; and two sisters, Marie Butler and Zelma Moorer.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Annie O’Cain; two sons, Larry O’Cain, of Bonifay, Fla. and Shawn (Morale) O’Cain, of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Jacqulyn O’Cain, of Century, Fla. and Shelia O’Cain, of Pensacola, Fla.; three step-sons, Bobby (Josie) Choate, of Brandon, Fla., Darrlyn (Angela) Choate, of Miami, Fla. and Marvin Choate, of Miami; one step-daughter, Crystal Choate, of Atmore; one brother, Willie O’Cain, of Virginia; one sister, Georgia Lambert, of Mobile; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving spiritual family.
Memorial services will be held on Sat., July 16, 2022, at 4 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Atmore.
