UPDATE: Atmosphere road, where blockage was located is now back open.

A train and vehicle crash that occurred this morning has caused a road closure, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Officials said in a release that the crash involved a train and tractor trailer, and the crash occurred at Atmosphere Road, near Jack Springs Road in Atmore. The road is blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time.

Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are on scene investigating and will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
