Mr. Ray Ladon “Uncle Ray” Singleton, 77 passed away on Sun., July 3, 2022, in Canoe.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis (Sudie Gilmore) Singleton; Edward Singleton, Lenard Singleton, Earl Singleton, Bernard Singleton, Carlos Singleton, Thelma Barnes and Sue Kniseley; and one brother in law, Newton Weaver.
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Elaine Singleton, of Fort Deposit; one daughter, Ladonna Young, of Bay Minette; one step-daughter, Summer (Clay) Brogden, of Greenville; two brothers, Barney (Pat) Singleton, of Atmore and Albert (Carolyn) Singleton, of Robinsonville; one sister, Laura Weaver, of Canoe; two grandsons, Tristan Young, of Hoover and Jack Brogden, of Greenville; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service will be held this Fri., July 8, 2022 at 3 p.m. at McCullough Christian Center with Bro. Richard Daniels officiating.
Burial will follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be held July 8, 2022 from 1 p.m. until service time at McCullough Christian Center.
