An Atmore man was arrested July 20 on drug trafficking charges, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said Montay T. Harris, 32, of Atmore, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, possession of marijuana II and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.

McMann said at approximately 9:20 a.m. on July 20, APD narcotics investigators executed a search warrant in the 400 block of Bragg Street.

“The investigators discovered nearly 2 pounds of spice, digital scales and of a small amount of marijuana,” McMann said.
