The life of Mr. Foster Watson began April 7, 1940. He departed this life on July 25, 2022.

Foster was preceded in death by his parents, William Watson and Susie Cannon Watson; sisters, Carrie Watson, Betty Jean Parker, Tina Howard and Lindsey Watson; and brothers, Boykin Watson and John Paul Watson.

Left to cherish his memory includes two sons, Foster Watson Jr. and Gregory Watson of Boston, Mass.; sisters, Cassie Watson of Pensacola, Fla. and Sarah Watson Bradley of Worchester, Mass; and brothers, Elmore Watson of Birmingham and William Watson Jr. of Roxbury, Mass.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service was held on July 30, 2022 at Zion Star AME in Atmore with the Rev. Jean Archie presiding.
