Franklin Edward Daw, 84, of Davisville, Fla., passed away on July 27, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on December 31, 1937 in Escambia County, Ala. to John Jess and Myrtie Godwin Daw.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his son in law, Donald “Don” Melvin.

He is survived by his son, Franklin John (Julie) Daw of Nokomis; his daughters, Robbie Daw (Brian) Toomey of Cantonment, Fla. and Rhonda Daw Melvin of Atmore; his sister, Arline (Joe) Davis of Stockton; his grandchildren, Joshua Toomey, Alex Toomey, Jason Melvin, Franki Peebles, Jacob Daw and Payton Daw; along with his great-grandchildren, Joe Toomey and Timothy Melvin.

Funeral services were held on July 30, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel in Atmore with Bro. Theron Collingsworth officiating.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
