Mr. Edward Marvin Myles Sr., 71, of Atmore, answered the master’s call on Mon., Aug. 15, 2022 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Myles; his parents; and a daughter, Vanessa Myles.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are his son, Edward M. Myles Jr. of Cameron, N.C.; a daughter, April Myles of Huntsville; four sisters, Arlean Ellis of Fairfax, Va., Barbara Fisher of Century, Fla., Mildred Young of Laurel, Md. and Carolyn West of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Billy Elmore of Huntsville and Percy Elmore of Columbia, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of life service will be held this Sat., Aug. 27, 2022 at 1 p.m. at the Zion Star AME Church with the Rev. Jean Archie officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
