One area high school football team fell out of the Top 10 in its classification in this week’s Alabama Sports Writers Association football poll, which was released today.

Escambia Academy, ranked No. 7 in last week’s poll, fell out of the AISA Top 10 after falling 49-20 to Clarke Prep Academy last week.

The Cougars host Banks Academy in their first home game of the season this Friday.

In Class 4A, T.R. Miller was nominated, but not ranked.
