Her celebration of life service was held on Sept. 2, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church of Atmore with Dr. Steve Shirley officiating. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

As a cancer survivor who also lost a young niece to cancer, Gloria requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to a TeamMinistries.org either online, on their Facebook page or mail to 1809 Oxmoor Rd., Homewood, AL 35209-3505. This is tax deductible ministry that provides practical needs for families whose children are in cancer treatment and it was a huge blessing to our family friends.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
