Huxford Elementary School held its annual First Responders Luncheon Sept. 8 at the school.

The annual luncheon is held to honor law enforcement and first responders for their contribution in protecting area residents and keeping them safe. This was the first luncheon since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

HES Counselor Rebecca Murray said the luncheon is a way just to say thank you for their sacrifice.
HES Ambassadors served law enforcement officers and first responders drinks, and food was served buffet style.
