Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Moore, 90, passed away on Fri., Sept. 9, 2022 at her home in Atmore surrounded by her family at her bedside.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilton Pinky (Verchie Godwin) Davis; five brothers, Hilton Davis, Sonny Davis, Charles Davis, Clarence Davis and James Davis; one sister, Aileen Davis Singletary; and one granddaughter, Tonya Gilbert.

She is survived by her one son, Glenn (Dianna) Moore, of Alabaster; one daughter, Lana (Rick) Melvin, of Atmore; two grandchildren, Morgan and Zachary; two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Brittany; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held this Sat., Sept. 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Chewn officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
