Mrs. Helen Mae Jones, 89, of Walnut Hill, Fla., passed away on Sept. 10, 2022 in Atmore.

She was born on April 11, 1933 in Nokomis to the late James T. and Mae Cook Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Jones; and sister, Doris Fuqua.

She is survived by her nephew, Lavon (Cindy) Ledkins of Foley; and two nieces, Helen (Jack) Jenkins of Foley and Susan (Jimmy) Hamby of Elberta. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held on Sept. 13, 2022 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Don Sanks officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
