Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Moore, 90, passed away on Fri., Sept. 9, 2022, at her home in Atmore, urrounded by her family at her bedside.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilton Pinky (Verchie Godwin) Davis; five brothers, Hilton Davis, Sunny Davis, Charles Davis, Clarence Davis and James Davis; one sister, Aileen Davis Singletary; and one granddaughter, Tonya Gilbert.

She is survived by her one son, Glenn (Dianna) Moore, Alabaster; one daughter, Lana (Rick) Melvin, of Atmore; two grandchildren, Morgan and Zachary; two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Brittany; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held this Sat., Sept. 17, 2022 at 11 a.m. AM at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Chewning officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
