Mr. Cary Ellis West, 85, passed away on Wed., Sept. 14, 2022, in Atmore peacefully surrounded by family at his bedside.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie (Zolena O’Farrell) West; one son, Cary West Jr.; and one sister, Inez Knowles.
He is survived by his one son, Cary Dewayne West, of Spanish Fort; two daughters, Penny Michelle Gulledge, of Bay Minette and Pam Mashane (Jon) Moore, of Atmore; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn West, Nicholas Morgan, Robert Donald Turner III, Victoria Dean Turner, John L. Gulledge III and Jillian Gulledge; five great-grandchildren, Penelopi Morgan, Laney Morgan, Layla Simmons, Dakota Hadley and Isabella Whatley; special cousin, Patricia O’Farrell; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held today, Sun., Sept. 25, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating.
