Mrs. Peggy Mathis McDonald, 69, passed away on Sept. 18, 2022, at her home in Century, Fla.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Oliver Mathis Sr. and Mary Helen Moore Mathis; husband, Charles Ware McDonald; and one brother, Jerry Wayne Mathis.
She is survived by her one son, Michael Allen McDonald, of Century; two brothers, James O. “Dooley” (Vivian) Mathis, of Century and Johnny Mathis, of Century; four sisters, Mildred (Danny) Higdon, of Flomaton, Evelyn (Bill) Cozart, of Jay, Fla., Gayle (Chuck) Aldridge, of Century and Kathy Mathis Simmons, of Jay; two grandchildren, Kendall McDonald and Traegan McDonald; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held tomorrow this Thurs., Sept. 22, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Joey Johnson and the Rev. Bill Cozart officiating.
Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Sept. 22, 2022 from 1 p.m. until service time at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church.
