T.R. Miller defeated Escambia County 39-0 tonight on its homecoming in Brewton.

Blue Devils head football coach Vincent Harris said the players came and fought hard, but have a lot of growing up to do.

“We’ve got a lot of stuff to fix,” Harris said. “I was proud of them because they played to the very end of the game. We’ve just got to keep playing hard and do things the right way.”

Harris said DaKota DeSpain and Lorenzo Arnold connected a couple of times.

ECHS (4-3, 2-3 in Class 4A, Region 1) hosts Bayside Academy next week in region action.
