We are sad to announce the passing of David Edward Robinson, of Atmore.

He was born on Sept. 7, 1943 and made his transition on Oct. 11, 2022, surrounded by loved ones in his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Robinson and Thomas Robinson; and brothers, Thomas and Dane Robinson.

David is survived by his wife, Sadie Robinson; his nine children, Andrea, Stephanie, Sonya, Sonja, Jermaine, Darrin, Jennifer, Trinicka, and David Jr.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

David was a beautiful person who spread laughter, joy, happiness and a warmth wherever he went.

The public viewing will be from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. tomorrow, Thurs., Oct. 20, 2022 at Mayberry Funeral Home at 149 Carver Ave. in Atmore. The funeral will be held at Greater Mount Triumph Missionary Baptist Church at 157 Carver Ave. in Atmore at 1 p.m. this Fri., Oct. 21, 2022.
