People from all over the globe are competing in the World’s Toughest Mudder (WTM) off Ewing Farm Road in Atmore today and tomorrow.
The WTM is a 24-hour extreme endurance experience, where participants complete a 5-mile loop as many times as possible until Sunday at noon.
The course is 5 miles long and has varying terrain and unique obstacles along the course. Obstacles open on the course at different times, and mudders have to go through the obstacles each lap. If not, they go through a penalty on said obstacle.
A prize purse will be awarded for finishers in the male and female categories.
The mudder will run through the night and end at noon tomorrow, Sun., Nov. 13.
Here are some photos from today, including a few obstacles.
