Ms. Brenda Jean Baron Mathis passed away in Marietta, Ga.

Celebration of love services will be held this Sat., Nov. 19, 2022 at noon from Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center in Atmore with Pastor Kim North and Bishop Darryl North officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Shiloh Cemetery in Nokomis.

She is preceded in death by her beloved baby boy, Robert (Bug) Carter Jr. Leslie III; two sisters, Cynthia Diane King and Debra Annette Burrell; one brother, Stuart Dewayne Burrell; and grandparents, Mary Lee Barron and Deacon Raymond Barron.

She is survived by four children, Franklin Shawn (Jeanelle) Barron of Atmore, Eric Barron of St. Paul, Minn., Derrick (Lakeena) Barron of Atlanta, Ga. and Lakiesha Leslie of Marietta, Ga.; three special nieces, Julia reeves of Washington, D.C., Quanette Crenshaw of Atmore, Latoya McDaniel of Tampa, Fla.; one nephew, Keith Barron of Shreveport, La.; eight grandchildren, Oderricka, Cordale, Nathaniel, Jayla, Roberria, Emery, Wisdom and Erika; one goddaughter, Zoey Cline; a special friend, Michael Mathis; and a host of friends, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Services are entrusted to Mayberry Funeral Home.
