The Atmore City Council approved a peddlers license for a frozen meat company during its regular meeting Monday.

The company, Country Fresh Farms, is based in Peachtree City, Ga., and requested to set up at Cricket Wireless three to four times a year, spanning three to four days each, to sell frozen meat.

The company will begin selling frozen meat on Dec. 4, 2022.

In other business, the city:

• approved Renovation Ministries’ request to use Westside Park for an outreach event on Dec. 17, 2022, at 1 p.m. Food, fun, fellowship and gifts will be a part of the event, Renovation Ministries Outreach Coordinator Michele Schriener said.
