Doris Mulder Jones, 87, of Atmore, passed away on Dec. 26, 2022 in Atmore.

She was born on Dec. 2, 1935 in Elmore County to James Ralph and Viola Powell Mulder.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence D. Jones; and her brother, Jesse Mulder.

She is survived by her son, David (Brandy) Jones of Atmore; her brother, Robert (Virginia) Mulder of Laurel, Miss.; and her sisters, Thelma Baker of Atmore and Louise (Larry) Hadley of Rabun.

Funeral services will be held this Fri., Dec. 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church in Atmore with Bro. Josh Long officiating.

Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Clay Baker, Heath Baker, Bryan McGhee, Jon Hansen, Robert Mulder Jr. and Larry Gohagan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hadley and Bo Brantley.

Visitation will be held on Dec. 30, 2022 from 1 p.m. until service time at Unity Baptist Church.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
