The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation made a donation to Ernest Ward Middle School Monday morning. The donation was for the school’s fabrication and engineering academy, who built picnic tables for Rachel Patterson Elementary School. The academy opened in 2013 at the school, and is a program that focuses on transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the technological tools, machines, instruments, materials, processes and systems in business and industry. The tables will be delivered to RPES this Friday morning.
