Flomaton’s Will Smith signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Coastal Alabama Community College East (Brewton) today during a signing ceremony in the school’s new gym.
Smith, the son of Ben and Becca Smith, thanked all of his teammates and classmates for attending the ceremony.
FHS baseball coach Troy Brown said the signing is a way to celebrate Smith.
“Your efforts have paid off,” Brown said. “He’s a great person, and a great player.”
Brown said everything Smith does embodies what the Hurricanes are trying to create in the program.
