FNBT announces new board members

First National Bank and Trust (FNB&T) announced recently the appointment of three new board members to its board of directors.

The new members are Elliott Faircloth, Chase McGhee and Dr. Steven Shirley.

Paul Oberkirch, president and CEO of FNB&T said the bank is excited to have these three professionals join its organization.

“We look forward to their leadership and help with guiding the bank in the future,” Oberkirch said.

  • Faircloth is a franchisee and business partner with Restaurant Support Services. They currently operate and manage three Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen locations in Atmore, Brewton and Jackson. His team has received the Operator of the Year award in recognition of their exceptional operations in the markets they serve. Faircloth is a graduate of Escambia County High School and the University of Alabama, with a degree in human environmental sciences.
  • McGhee is the director of hotel operations for Wind Creek Hospitality in Atmore. McGhee has been with Wind Creek Hospitality since 2009, and has served in many different areas of management within the hotel. He is a graduate of Escambia County High School and Auburn University, with a degree in business administration.
  • Shirley is a veterinarian and owner of Atmore Animal Hospital. He attended Escambia Academy and earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Samford University with summa cum laude honors. He graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine with cum laude honors. Shirley is a member and deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Atmore, and also serves on the West Escambia Utilities Board.

Hendrix of Hendrix Tractor Co.; and Oberkirch.
