An Atmore man was arrested March 5 on drug and criminal mischief charges, according to officials.

Atmore Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Bradley Baker, 28, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal mischief III.

McMann said at 11:05 p.m. on March 5, APD officers responded to a residence on Old Bratt Road in reference to an argument.

McMann said when officers arrived, they were informed that Baker was allegedly under the influence of something and was punching holes in the walls.

“The officers confronted Baker inside the residence in his bedroom and took him into custody,” McMann said. “The officers discovered Baker was in possession of 115 kratom pills, four marijuana grinders, artificial urine to defeat a drug test, two pipes used to ingest marijuana, a used needle, a bong and sockets that he was using to ingest narcotics. He also broke several items in the room and punched several holes in the walls.”

Baker was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
