Northview girls win track meet Thursday, boys finish second

Northview’s girls and boys finished first and second, respectively, at their home track and field meet March 23 in Bratt, Fla.

The girls compiled 182 points to lead the five-school field, while the boys finished with 152 points.

Jay, Fla. came in second in the girls’ division with 140 points.

Flomaton finished first in the boys with 158.50 points.

NHS athletes who finished in the top six in each event by gender included:

Girls

  • 100-meter dash – Na’khya Brown, first place, 14.06 seconds; Kamryn Langham, fourth place, 14.28 seconds; and Kendal Beasley, sixth place, 14.35 seconds
  • 200-meter dash – Brown, second place, 30.01 seconds; Langham, fifth place, 31.57 seconds
