EA JV boys finish runner up at AISA Class 1A-2A state meet Wednesday

Escambia Academy’s boys’ junior varsity track and field team finished runner up at the AISA Class 1A-2A State JV Meet on Wednesday in Canoe.

The Cougars scored 103 points, which included 41 points in distance, 20 points in jumps and 18 in hurdles.

Wilcox Academy claimed the title with 148 points.

In girls, Lakeside won the title with Jackson Academy finishing runner up.
