The rain held off just right for Atmore Rotary Club members and clay shooters today during the club’s annual Benefit Clay Shoot at Bushy Creek Clays.

The Rotary Club’s annual shoot is held to raise funds for the many local projects supported by the club.

Shirley Darby’s team won first place with a score of 343; Atmore Ready Mix finished second with a score of 342; and Baldwin Gulf Coast Pest Control finished third with a score of 262.

Michael Lyons was the top male shooter, and Kendra Weekes was the top female shooter.

Sponsors for the shoot included Wind Creek Casino and Hotel, First National Bank and Trust, Parmer Family Chiropractic, Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. of Atmore, Canoe Creek Armory and Mercantile and David’s Catfish House.
