The Rev. Johnny Ray Britt, 71, passed away on Sat., May 6, 2023, in Bay Minette surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Newton Britt; mother, Margaret Hobbie Harper; wife, Elaine Britt; and one son, John Glynn Britt.

He is survived by his two sons, Michael (Kimberly) Britt, of Bay Minette and Shannon (Victoria) Britt, of Augusta, Miss.; one brother, Ronnie Britt, of Savanah; one sister, Connie Nixon, of Byron, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held today, Wed., May 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Guy’s Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Welch officiating.

Visitation will be held on May 10, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Britt, Jordan Britt, Jacob Britt, Conway Britt, Nathan Styron, Joshua Greene, Kevin Greene and Dillon Rider

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
