Mrs. Lana Moore Melvin, 69, passed away on Sun., May 21, 2023 in Atmore.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Dorothy Davis) Moore; one daughter, Tonya Vickery Gilbert; and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Rick Melvin, of Atmore; one granddaughter, Brittany Gilbert, of Atmore; two brothers, Glenn (Diana) Moore, of Alabaster and James (Linda) Moore, of Tampa, Fla.; and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held this Sat., May 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Thurl Pearson officiating.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
