Mr. Leo Hadley, 65, passed away on Sat., July 8, 2023, in Atmore surrounded by his family.
Mr. Hadley is preceded in death by his father, Roil Hadley; mother, Zeta Mae Porter; and three brothers, Donnie Hadley, Steve Hadley and Melton Hadley.
He is survived by his step-mother, Maize Joiner, of Perdido; companion, Elaine Hadley McGhee, of Poarch; one son, Steven Hadley, of Atmore; one step-son, Curtis (Alicia) McBride, of Brewton; two step-daughters, Gina Schwartz, of Wichita, Kan. and Tonia Schwartz, of Brewton; five brothers, Gilbert Hadley, of McCullough, Lamar (Bernice) Hadley, of Perdido, Tony (Syretha) Hadley, of Mize, Miss., Thomas Earl Hadley, of Perdido and Mack (Tina) Hadley, of Rabun; seven sisters, Imogene Boyington, of Atmore, Darlene (Wendell) Stewart, of Bay Minette, Daisy (Kenneth) Koenig, of Brewton, Pauline Weaver, of Crossroads, Tammy Stewart, of Bay Minette, Louise (Louis) Brown, of Nokomis and Lou Ann Johnson, of Twin Falls, Ind.; numerous grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on July 13, 2023 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with Sister Helen Stewart and the Rev. Henry Wilson officiating.
Burial followed at Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Shane Coleman, Seth Coleman, Norman Hadley, Caleb Hadley, Jamie Barber and Gage Coleman.
Honorary pallbearers were Caleb McBride, Ben McBride and Jeremy McBride.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
