County BOE approves personnel recommendations

The Escambia County Board of Education July 29 approved some last-minute personnel recommendations before the start of the 2024-25 school year.

The first day of school for the system is Aug. 6.

Resignation

  • Victoria Shipp, as seven-hour lunchroom worker at Escambia County Middle School, effective Aug. 11;
  • Nikita Pinkney, as teacher at ECMS, effective July 15;
  • Aundrea Beasley, as special education aide at Flomaton High School, effective July 23;
  • Allison Lowery, as elementary teacher at W.S. Neal Elementary School, effective July 31;
  • Brigitte Hoomes, as six-hour lunchroom worker at WSNES, effective July 31;
