Flomaton High School officials announced today that sixth grade students will begin school on Thurs., Aug. 8.

“Due to the construction of our new classrooms at the sixth grade academy, we are unable to begin school Tuesday, August 6,” FHS officials said on their Facebook page. “This only applies to sixth grade. Sixth grade students will begin school on Thursday, August 8. Grades 7-12 will begin school as planned on August 6. We apologize for the short notice and inconvenience.”
