Eunice Bolling Blackmon, 84, born and raised in Perdido, was a life-long resident of Bay Minette. She passed away peacefully at her home on Thurs., Aug. 15, 2024.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, James Archie and Lula Belle (Coleman) Bolling; her husband and love of her life, James Vester Blackmon; brother, James Winston Bolling; and sisters, Wylene Powell Linam, Naomi Ruth Rotch and Amy Sherrill Gunn.
Eunice is survived by her children, Bishop James Alan (Michelle) Blackmon, Jeremy Blackmon and daughter in law, Tiffany Travis Blackmon; four grandchildren, Alison (Joshua) Britt, Amber (Jay) Scruggs, Ayriel Blackmon and Meri-Katharyn Blackmon; great-grandsons, James Charlton Scruggs and Sawyer Britt; nephews, James Ray Powell, Dale Bolling, Gary Bolling, Roland Rotch Jr. and Christopher Gunn; nieces, Debbie Powell, Janella White and Shannon Cole; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services for Eunice will be held this Sat., Aug. 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Vision Ministries Church of God with Bishop Alan Blackmon, Bishop Stephen Sexton and the Rev. Jay Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow at Dean’s Cemetery in Rabun Alabama.
The family will receive friends on Aug. 23, 2024 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Vision Ministries Church of God at 47861 Rabun Rd., Bay Minette, AL 36502.
Pallbearers will be Edward Blackmon, George Blackmon, Joshua Britt, Kevin Cole, Jason Downey, and James Ray Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Bolling, Clarence Bramlett and Roland Rotch Jr.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
