Mrs. Linda Nadine Aplin, 65, passed away on Thurs., Aug. 22, 2024, in Atmore.

She was born Nov. 17, 1958 to Albert Junior Smith and Gladys Clark Flowers, in Atmore and has resided most of her life there.

She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Junior Smith; mother, Gladys Clark Flowers; one son, James “Jamey” McClain; and two sisters, Peggy Mitchell and Linda Diane Smith.
She is survived by her step-mother, Polly Smith, of Monroeville; two sons, Jason McClain, of North Carolina and Chad Mills, of Clayton; one daughter, Brandy Mills, of Colorado; one sister, Sharon (Rev. Buford) Wiggins, of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one step-brother, Tommy Wallace, of Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside and burial services will be held on Mon., Aug. 26, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Canoe Freewill Cemetery with Wiggins officiating.
Pallbearers will be Buford Wiggins, Buddy McClain, Terrell Boutwell and Scotty Wiggins.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
