The Alabama Power Foundation Sept. 19 made a donation to Pima Girls to aid the organization in its mentoring activities for young girls.
Since 1989, the Alabama Power Foundation has awarded funds for projects that support education, health and human services civic and community development, arts and culture and environmental stewardship.
Officials said the Alabama Power Foundation is pleased to support Pima Girls in its efforts to promote educational advancement and promote skills to build strong, confident and capable young women who will be the leaders of tomorrow.
