Escambia County fell 49-12 to St. Michael in region action tonight in Fairhope.

Blue Devils head football coach Vincent Harris said the Cardinals are a good football team.

“We played hard, but we’re just young and trying to get better,” Harris said.

Harris said the team fell a little flat, and St. Michael came out hot from the gate.

ECHS (1-4, 0-3 in Class 4A, Region 1) visits Northview next week in Bratt, Fla.
