Mr. Winston R. Bryan, age 85, passed away, Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Mobile, AL. He resided most of his life in Atmore and proudly served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Bryan loved listening to music, Sacred Harp and the Gaither’s, he also liked watching westerns. He enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He spent many hours watching both Alabama and Auburn football. Traveling to the mountains was also a favorite thing to do, along with making all of his grandchildren’s functions. He loved attending to church and the Eagle Saints Sunday School Class.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jack (Louisa Maybell Buck) Bryan, wife Lou-Etta Bryan, one son, Jack Ora Bryan, one sister, Meriam Bryan, and two brothers, Oscar Marion Bryan, and Franklin D. “Runt” Bryan.
He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Voncile Bryan, of Atmore, AL; two sons, Winston Rodney (Charlene) Bryan, of Frisco City, AL; Anthony Ray Bryan, of Poarch, AL; Cameran Joel Bryan, of Atmore, AL; one daughter, San Etta (Robbie) Jaye, of Atmore, AL; one brother, Windell Wayne “Soapy” Bryan, of North Carolina; two sisters, Wynell Bryan (Archie) Covington, of Uriah, AL; Mavis Virginia Newman, of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Don Davis officiating.
Burial will follow at McCullough Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM until service time at 1:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church.
Pallbearers will be Chase Jaye, Connor Jaye, Jack Jaye, Corey Bryan, Cameran Bryan, Preston Payne, and Josh Peebles.
Honorary pallbearers will be Eagle Saints Sunday School Class.
