Atmore police investigators are working to identify a suspect who allegedly shot another Sept. 28, according to officials.

Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that at approximately 11:55 p.m. Saturday, APD officers responded to Atmore Community Hospital in reference to a gunshot victim transported by private vehicle.

“The victim was in serious condition and was flown by helicopter to a trauma center,” McMann said. “Investigators are working to identify the suspect.”
