One sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Sept. 27 on Highway 31 near Chapman Road, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson said in a release the crash occurred at approximately 6:34 p.m.
Thompson said the crash occurred when the driver of a 2018 Dodge Caravan struck a 2003 Honda Civic.
“After the initial collision, the Dodge crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, and was struck by (a) 2016 Chevrolet Silverado,” Thompson said. “The driver of the Dodge was seriously injured, and transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. for treatment.”
Thompson said no other injuries were sustained in the crash.
Nothing further is available as troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
