Clara Eloise Copeland, or Ms. Eloise as her students called her on her bus routes, was a lifetime resident of Atmore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert (Carrie Boone) Caraway; husbands, Lloyd Gary Copeland, Steven Sinclair and James Edward Brown; one son, Mark Anthony Brown; one grandson, Cody Brown; and son in law, David Dees.
She is survived by her three sons, Blane Charles (Pamela) Brown, of Foley, Bobby Edward (Wanda) Brown, of Costa Rica and Lloyd Wayne (Brandy) Copeland, of Atmore; one daughter, Marilyn Dees, of Salem, Utah; one brother, James Caraway, of Atmore; two sisters, Louise Caraway, of Atmore and Mary Hamby, of Ovett, Miss.; five grandchildren, Blane Nicole Weaver, Shania Brown, Josh Brown, Robbie Brown and Donnie Brown; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held today, Wed., Oct. 9, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC with Pastor James Henry officiating.
Burial will follow at Little River Baptist Cemetery 1823 AL-59 Uriah, AL 36480.
Visitation will be held on Oct. 9, 2024 from noon until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
Pallbearers will be Ben Brown, Terry Caraway, Josh Brown, Steve caraway, Wayne Moseley and Donnie Brown.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
