When she needs therapy, Lisa Moye said she chooses ACH Therapy Services.

Moye started a health journey in 2009, requiring surgeries and physical therapy for the rest of her life. She was diagnosed with degenerative osteoarthritis.

Moye has already had shoulder, neck, knee and hand surgery, and in the future will require hip, ankle, back and additional knee surgeries. After each surgery, she has chosen ACH Therapy Services.

“Before I came to ACH Therapy Services, I did my research and talked to people in the community who used them,” Moye said in a release. “I was told ACH Therapy was the best, they’re good people and they will work with you to achieve your goals. They were right.”

Moye said the therapists provide sound advice during sessions, including addressing any concerns she may have if complications arise. She said this was the case for her most recent surgery. She was able to find a new surgeon, who performed her seventh surgery on her left knee. He discovered scar tissue and a loose knee socket from her previous surgeries.

“We had a time with my knee. Tyler, my therapist suggested I talk with the doctor because something was not right,” Moye said. “Turns out he was right. I am thankful because they really helped me on what to look for and what questions to ask. I didn’t feel like a patient. Tyler was concerned for my well-being.”

Over the course of her life, Moye will be spending a lot of time at ACH Therapy. She said it takes a person feeling comfortable to be able to heal and she feels comfortable at ACH Therapy Services. Moye was asked if she would try another therapy clinic.

“My heart doesn’t want to go anywhere else because I know here, I’m being taken care of and feel like I’m fully healing during the process,” Moye said. “So I don’t even want to go anywhere to compare them with anyone else because I feel like I’ve got the best.”

ACH Therapy Services is located inside Atmore Community Hospital and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. They offer physical, occupational and speech therapy for all ages. Ask your doctor to send your therapy referral to ACH Therapy Services.
