A Frisco City man died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 21, near the 13-mile marker on Oct. 27, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Lt. Jeremy Burkett said in a release that Frankie E. Rodgers, 63, was fatally injured when the 2002 Honda Gold Wing motorcycle he was operating left the roadway, struck a ditch and then a fence before overturning.
“Rodgers was thrown from the motorcycle, and pronounced deceased at the scene,” Burkett said.
Burkett said the crash occurred approximately 13 miles north of Atmore at around 2:45 p.m.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
