The Atmore Area Christian Care Ministry Food Pantry is giving away 5-pound bags of sweet potatoes to the community on Veterans Day, Mon., Nov. 11, from 8 a.m. until noon or until it runs out. The giveaway will be held at the pantry, 1029 W. Nashville Ave.
