Escambia County (Ala.) voters made their voice clear on Election Day, voting for former President Donald Trump.

Trump (a Republican) won the county with 72.78 percent of the vote, or 10,866 votes. Vice President Kamala D. Harris (a Democrat), received 26.5 percent, or 3,956 votes.

The county’s vote trended with the national scene as Trump won the 270 electoral votes needed to clinch the presidency. Wisconsin put him over the top, according to reports.

According to the Secretary of State’s website, 52.99 percent of voters turned out to vote on Election Day.
