Gene Parker of Orange Beach passed away on Nov. 29, 2024 at Vitas Hospice in Pensacola, Fla.

He was born on Aug. 17, 1944 to Rollin and Dorothy Parker in Paradise Hills, Calif.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; and his two sisters, Sandy Murphy and DeeDee Bojorquez.

Gene is survived by his sons, Todd (Robin) Parker of Walnut Hill, Fla. and Jason Parker of Milton, Fla.; grandsons, Cody (Leigh Ann) Parker of Opelika and Dustin Parker of Pensacola; great-grandchildren, Sully, Eloise and Henry Parker of Opelika; along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Temecula, Calif. will be Pop’s final resting place on his native soil.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
