The weather highlighted Christmas in Downtown Atmore on Dec. 5.

Before the frigid weather came through, temperatures were in the low 50s to high 40s throughout the night.

Santa Claus was on hand for photos at the Strand Theatre, the annual Jingle Bell Walk was held and the Christmas Tree Lighting was well attended at night’s end.
