Atmore woman arrested Dec. 13 on robbery, theft, public lewdness charges

An Atmore woman was arrested Dec. 13 on robbery, theft and public lewdness charges, according to officials.

Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Kimberly Foster, 39, was arrested and charged with robbery III, theft of property III, resisting arrest, public lewdness and public intoxication.

McMann said at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Dec. 13, APD officers responded to Jalisco’s on Lindberg Avenue in reference to a female screaming at customers and exposing her breasts.

“While en route to the call, the officers were notified the female stole a debit card from another customer,” McxMann said. “When responding officers arrived on the scene they contacted the female (Foster) who was exposing herself and appeared to be extremely intoxicated.”
McMann said Foster was instructed by the officer to come to him, but she attempted to flee the business.

“The officer was able to handcuff Foster after a foot pursuit and brief struggle to take her into custody,” he said. “

Foster was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
